B is for Bicycle...

At last! Our first-born is now officially a "two-wheeler"! After a summer of encouragement from Andrew and I (but lack of interest on Quinn's part), the light bulb went off yesterday, and Quinn decided to ride his bike without the training wheels. One push from Andrew at about 4:30pm, and he was off. No further assistance was required. He went up and down our street a hundred times at least. His favourite part is going over the curb at the end of the driveway. He has mastered the brakes and kickstand too. The street lights went on just after 8pm, and that was his cue to put the bike away and come inside. Quinn was so excited, and proud of himself – it was written all over his face.
