Lots of new developments in the last week or so...Little man Jake is now rarely seen without his fist in his mouth. I’d rather it be a soother, but he tells me his fingers taste better, and he likes the way they wiggle. Quinn and I have managed to evoke a few giggles lately, which brings us great satisfaction. Typically after a diaper change, Quinn and I take turns tickling or blowing raspberry kisses on Jake’s belly, which causes a little giggle each time. I have yet to capture any smiles or giggles on video, but willl post as soon as I do.
Wee Jake is sleeping through the night beautifully — it’s just about guaranteed he’ll sleep from 9pm to 7am every night. What a joy. We are all so in love.
