Too good to be true?

Wee Jake surprised us all last night by sleeping straight through from 10:30pm to 5am, at which time Andrew went in to wake him up for his breakfast. We are amazed, and of course hopeful that this may be an indication of what's to come. What's more likely though, is that he has a small case of "Sleepy Baby Syndrome", resulting from a bit of jaundice. Jake's first check-up is tomorrow – his first weigh-in and growth/development progress report.

I'm off to have a quick nap now, while Andrew and Quinn are outside playing, and Jake sleeps quietly, dreaming of all things soft and milky.
