Inspiration 365: Day 13

So, it looks as though our sweet guest Cierra has decided to stay in Ottawa. This means living with us until she can afford her own place {yahoo!}. In order to do so, she needs to find work. This girl—she’s amazing. At sixteen, she has more of a head on her than some 30-year olds I know.

In the 48-hours since making this decision, she has written two job applications, revamped her resumé, talked to the community center about volunteer hours and has a list a mile long of retailers and other businesses to approach about employment. I tell you, business owners will be foolish not to hire this bright, young woman.

Cierra’s “Don’t sit still” attitude will carry her far in this life. A life which will most certainly reflect her beauty, and reward her perseverance throughout her entire journey.
