So, weigh in today, make some changes to your diet*, and check in again next week. Post your numbers here in a comment, should you be so brave ;)
For the record, I am 130lbs today. Aiming for a steady 125lbs. At 1-2lbs of healthy weight loss per week, that should be attainable by April 1st. There. Hold me accountable!
* Some diet changes to try:
- cut out all dairy (doing so will also reduce seasonal allergies!)
- no starchy carbs after 2pm (sugar, flour, bread, rice, pasta, carrots, tomatoes, corn).
- no carbonated drinks—nope, not even soda water.
- 3-4L of water per day.
- nothing to eat after 8pm.
This is great info... keep it coming! I am sending this to my wife.

I want to lose 5lbs off my a**.
ReplyDeleteSigh...I really like rice. And Diet Coke. Oh, but red wine and coffee are still OK according to your list!
Thanks, Wayne!
ReplyDeleteFin, you can have your rice (aim for brown, wild or Basmati), but have it with lunch, not supper, and no more than 1/2 cup. Red wine and black coffee are fine, in moderation ;)
No I am not brave enough to post my weight :( I know numbers shouldn't matter, but I am ridiculously sensitive about it.
ReplyDeleteNo dairy??? You're not the first to tell me this, but I have as of yet not been able to cut out milk, cheese or yogurt. Or chocolate.
And no soda water? I drink at least one a day - yikes. I don't drink other carbonated drinks though . . .
ACM, just TRY cutting dairy for a week, and see how your body responds. You just might be so amazed, you never want to eat it again ;) As for club soda, it's the best of the carbonated options, so go ahead ;)
